The Five Haymarket Martyrs

After the Haymarket Massacre, these five men were tried and convicted, despite their innocence. Four were hanged and the fifth committed suicide soon after. Their crimes? Open protest in favor of the 8 hour work day, and laying bare the hypocrisy of the State for all to see.

"The day will come when our silence will be more
